The King’s Speech Cast Gets Some Lacoste Lovin’

23 Mar

The all-star cast of The King’s Speech continued to reign supreme throughout award season, with the majority of the cast being nominated for their performances at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, Golden Globes and Oscars. While two of our favorite veteran actors, Geoffrey Rush and Helena Bonham Carter, didn’t strike Oscar gold for their supporting roles, they certainly gained well-deserved recognition for their acting chops.

We’ve already seen how handsome fellow cast mate and Oscar winner Colin Firth looks in eyewear, now it’s time to see how Geoffrey and Helena fared.

Geoffrey never failed to show off his dapper style throughout award season, especially in retro and geek chic specs. He looks just as charming (if not more so) in a tortoise pair of Lacoste L616S shades with a keyhole bridge by Marchon Eyewear.

Helena, on the other hand, sported round, blacked out sunnies on the red carpet, but it’s nice to see her pretty peepers as she dons pink, butterfly shaped Lacoste L2607 specs by Marchon Eyewear.

Mila Kunis Sizzles in Lacoste Shades

11 Mar

Mila Kunis has been on Hollywood overdrive since the release of her critically acclaimed film Black Swan. Besides supporting the endless movie promotions and premieres, the actress has received impressive accolades for her performance as the rival ballerina to Natalie Portman’s character, resulting in a Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award for best supporting actress.

After months of grueling ballet training, dropping 20 pounds, promoting the film and surviving the stressful award season, it looks like Mila can finally sit back and enjoy the limelight.

She definitely looks vibrant and healthy in oversized Lacoste L110 shades with rosy, gradient lenses by Marchon Eyewear.

Colin Firth Looks Like Oscar Gold in Michael Kors Shades

1 Mar

The last few months have been a whirlwind for top actors, especially for those who starred in The Kings Speech. After rave reviews and taking home awards at the Directors Guild of America, Producers Guild of America, Screen Actors Guild and Golden Globes, it came as no shock that the film was nominated for a whopping 12 Academy Awards.

Last Sunday was the moment of truth, and The Kings Speech didn’t disappoint as it took home four of the most coveted Oscars of the night, including Best Picture. Colin Firth, who played stutter-embattled King George VI, snagged the Best Actor category and delivered both a self-deprecating and humorous acceptance speech.

We can’t help but adore this year’s Best Actor and his impeccable sense of style. We loved the classic suit and bowtie that he rocked at the Academy Awards, but we like it even more when Colin jazzes up his look in dapper frames.

Tyreke Evans

Only twenty one years old and already on to his second season as a professional basketball player for the Sacramento Kings, Tyreke Evans has set the bar high for young athletes. In 2009, Evans decided to skip his remaining three seasons at the University of Memphis and enter the NBA draft. While a seemingly risky move, his smart choice led to a rewarding season and the coveted 2009-2010 NBA Rookie of the Year Award.

Evans seems just as hot this season and is averaging an impressive 17.8 points, 4.8 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game. Let’s see if Evans can keep up the momentum and help his team surge past the San Antonio Spurs tomorrow night at 10 pm EST.

Evans looks fresh and fabulous in his white get-up and Nike Vintage 77 aviators by Marchon Eyewear. These oversized, racecar-inspired shades definitely give Evans the competitive edge in the style department.

If so, most of you will recognize this guy as tough, emotionally charged NYPD Detective Elliot Stabler from Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (SVU). Beverly Hills Beauty Taylor Armstrong in bebe Shades

26 Jan

A guilty pleasure for many, Bravo’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills always lives up to the expectation—drama, drama, drama! Filled to the brim with over-the-top glamour, excessive spending, cat fights galore and plastic surgery, this show is irresistible and endlessly entertaining. Unfortunately, the first season has come to an end, but alas, the reunion (part one) airs tomorrow night at 9 pm EST, and let’s admit it, the reunions are always way more juicy than the regular episodes.

Born and raised in Oklahoma, one of our favorite cast members, Taylor Armstrong, is no longer a small town gal. Since becoming a Beverly Hills resident, Taylor is now the business-savvy Founder and President of eImplement, Inc., a management consulting firm. She also has a mind for fashion, as seen here in these statement-making oversized white bebe (BB7005) sunnies with metal studded temples and gradient lenses by Altair Eyewear.

Can’t wait to see how the infamous feud between Taylor and Kim Richards unravels tomorrow!
